STATUS QUO SYNDROME

I had this friend who no matter what advice you give him,he was always satisfied with what he had. he never fought for more,he was contented. his peers were way past him.Ten years later he still woke up the same time everyday, did the same thing everyday, went home the same time everyday and slept the same time. boring is what I might say,at thirty,he looked like a fifty year old man .had a protruding tummy, five kids and another on the way.
Whatever he did in his life was so predictable that it became a norm. Macharia was a small retail shop owner and if he had a knack for business or a goal to move forward, he now would be a proud owner of a  chain of supermarkets.
What makes people fear moving forward and reach out to their goals?
Why do people stick in the status quo syndrome?
How do you know you are not moving forward?
The ability to ask yourself these questions will determine if you are a goal chaser or person suffering from (SQS)status quo syndrome.
What happens when you follow you goals,? you grow better each and everyday.
There are many enemies of a victorious lifestyle,
1.Fear.....Challenges will come
             - Competition will come
              -Death will come
The question is, are you brave enough to face all those? Are you ready to move forward or stay where you are just because of fear?
2. Pride........it comes before a fall.
Macharia was proud of whatever small he had achieved, as long as his children are well fed, sleep well, get the basic commodities in life. He never tried for more just because of fear, and pride.

Do an introspection of your lifestyle and attitude, it comes in many ways and its not something that can be calculated.
Struggle for a better life, a better future not only for you but also your children. do not be contented with what you have...struggle for more.
